I am the producer of the documentary, contact me if I can help you with LaFarge info. I have the whole story about his mental illness and Inger's life after is death. I am in touch with his daughter and granddaughter also.

Not sure why you're addressing Stuart here, but whatever...

It's not a problem finding the album for download or buying it from Folkways. The album notes by LaFarge are in my opinion much more interesting than the Danish songs. Find the liner notes here (free PDF download)....

Some people have way too much time on their hands, thinking their veiws should mean anything to anyone but themselves!
What drivel!
Anyone that takes Burning Man too seriousily is kind of weird themself!
The person that wrote this probably got in for free! Or didn't go at all.

Althought doc did come up with the idea of dolls marching into an ez bake oven, many of the Barbies at camp were donated in an already tortured state. The camp itself allows creative licence for anyone to participate in doll torture. As for all the doll smiling as if they were enjoying what is happening or is going to happen...they are just pieces of plastic. Would it be different if they were gingerbread men or angel cookies walking into ovens? Those would still have human shape, but would be more acceptable because they are food items destined for the oven and consumption?

Critics can read all they want into this art piece, but really it's all done in fun and is thousands of peoples favorite destination at Burning man.
